Don't be afraid. None of us are really missing. We're just in the shadows.

For the time being we (Malasombras) are working on some obscure stuff (on the dark side) and maybe soon we'll have some nice results. We are sure those other people are also working hard as well. When some people are quiet probably they are preparing something great. Wink

I probably classify as missing Confused . Having a real hard time getting back into it after a holiday.

Laguna was kinda hectic then CF was a monster with all those cameras and stuff, Nburg was(is) a lesson in new game errors and Stu & Stanley started talking serious quantities of conversions. There's only so much you can take before freaking out and running a mile.

Trying to break myself in again. Normal service will be resumed shortly.

Not your fault mate Smile, I felt like a break after laguna but was too obsessed to have one.

Spent the last month paddling about, chucking arrows and making shavings. All I got to do now is try to get back in front of the computer again Eh? .

I've gotten obsessed with Barber's. By the time I'm done 1/2 of it will be origenal. Wink
It seems quite a few of the tracks are barren. No clutter or crowds. They just don't have the GP500 race day atmosphere. Sad
I'm also still trying to figure out how the t,q,r works. Mad

Too secret methinks. There's stuff on that forum that others may find handy.

Oh like my massive number of converted tracks is some thing to worry about, yes I have 62 in my "projectracks" folder, 20 some odd converted down and waiting, 6 worked on, 3 working on, and 1 done.

Neal if you pestered me a bit to get that "read-me" written I'd get Watkin's glenn up at the store. And how long have I had that remapping of Laguna done, geezz. I love to work the models and the textures, I'm just kinda lost from there. Idea Exclamation Arrow Question Confused

I have been working on Barber's for, oh, going on 7 weeks. I have scraped and restarted 4 times. Went from the SCGT version to the GPL one it was converted from. Will still be another 4 weeks; best guess, before I have a beta ready.
Grand vally, finally got to fixing the bridge. A few minor tweeks and it will be ready for obp and pat. Total time, oh maybe five hours when I'm done. But then UZZI makes a good track. Wink

So how long it takes to convert a track is dependent on three things.
1. the time and effort you have to put into it.
2. your understanding of the tools involved.
3. how many glitchs you have to fix before you finally fix it or say f**k it.

There's something about the wording there, can almost hear you giggling as you were typing.
Sounds good. Look forward to whatever surprise you're cooking up. Smile
