As you've probably noticed the store went down a few months ago and despite many hours scouring through the old site code i havn;t been able to get it back up and running.
Not the end of the world, it needed a freshening anyway.
So i've started work on installing a new system which will hopefully allow for better, easier control and be a nice place to work with.
The new GPStore will feature racing news, blog posts, dev posts, racing results, downloads and much more.
To get things started a new, fully integrated site, i've set up a twitter account which will, once the site is complete automatically tweet any new posts that are published on the site, for now it will keep you guys updated on the progress of the rebuild
follow the GP500store on twitter: http://twitter.com/GP500Store
Right, best get back to work then...

Nice one matey. Great to hear it.
I did have a look at why the site wasn't working but I couldn't find owt either.
Are you planning on having the new site focussing on GP500 still? I think the GP500 community is on life support at the moment, still a fantastic game of course, but maybe it's time to broaden the scope of the Store a bit...

I'd like to broaden the sites scope to more games and real world racing news etc.
I will need some help as my full time job doesnt leave a massive amount of time during the week but thankfully with the racing seasons coming to a clsoe, i can have time to get everything toegther for the 2010 season.

Well I'm well up for helping out in any way I can matey.
Are you gonna create a new site for it or use GP500Store still? Maybe something a bit less specific would be good?
Oh, and I'd recommend WordPress for a site management thing. I've used it before and it's a real easy and tidy solution for the new store. |

If I didn't notice the site down then it must be a LONG time since I last looked at GP500
Still the best motorcycle racing game released. |
