Steve, dont mean to cause any offense, but have you tried using a shadow layer on these skins, just to enhance them slightly to give a greater impression of the curved surfaces?

As i said, dont be offended, they look great, looking for to the bks.

Stu

so do i.

What i do is use a multiply layer on top of the colours layer. I use various shades of grey to apply a shadow, the closer to the curves, normally dark and then going to white. Then blur it.

I do the same for highlights on the apex of the curve on the bodywork but for this i use a hard light layer.

If you want i can throw one together on one of your skins so you can get the gist of what im on about. if you check lazy's templates for his helmets, they all have multiply shading layers.

Stu
