Nburg is entering it's final stages of conversion. I have a running model in game, but need a fair amount of work before I release it as a beta.
I'm using Grooveskis .obp and pat, so the lap timer and reinsertion work. But there are alot of open spaces; where you can see floating models, and a lot of open seams between the grass models.
But it should be up in a month or so. Sorry, done with this stage of it, moving to Grand valley, then Estoril, Virginia, and back to Nburg.
Also the Bavaria Motor park, Daytona, the airport, interlagos 04', and 74', Toco test track II, and trial mountain, are on my working schedual. Oh, and of coase 40 some odd tracks waiting in the wings. Wink

I had the Triumph I like to ride; in my beta builds, up to 197mph. Came out from under the bridge to a corner Shocked and wished the game had a "bail" button Laughing I'm running in the low 10's; Rolling Eyes , but I've only been around the track half a dozzen times Wink . I'm sure I'll be able to get it down to the 8's, and it wouldn't suprise me if the high 7's turn out to be an average lap.

The track file right now is Huge, 18meg zipped. and will only go up. This track is pushing GP's model size quite a bit. It takes almost 2 minutes to load. I'm sorry to say that it may not run right on some comps.

Well, spending the rest of the day working on a .obp for Aardvark park. I don't intend to release this one, it's just a nice short, simple track to work on an obp for. Wink

I can't thank Grooveski enough, I wouldn't be posting about Nburg right now if I didn't have groovski's .obp and .pat.

this sounds awesome, i can't wait!

one small question, is this the full length nurburghring, or has it had to be shortened slightley like with some GPL tracks?

cheers Wink

hmm, not sure if it has been shortend, it's the scgt version but it's based on the GPL version. Still planty long. I'll have picks up, once I've replaced a few textures.

The Watkins track is done. No more left to fix on it, mipmaps and T,Q,R textures. Just no .obp or .pat. And I still can't reach the author for permission to release. Interlagos 04' is another that's about done. It was a quick and fairly clean convert, just needs a few textures replaced, the t,q,r textures set, the pit garages fixed. Estoril is another in that catigory; fairly easy convert, just needs a bit of work.

I ran into so problems last week with my comp. But most of it is sorted out now. I'm trying to get some more done on Virginia int. Then I'll be back to Nburg. I have four or five houses to add then some beta testing.

May not be. I haven't worked on a track in a couple of weeks. Maybe done with this.
