i have a problem - the gear settings are always to long so that the 6. gears gets slower than the fifth -> how can i make a shorter setting?
can anyone send me some setups please? (for assen, jerez and so on) Schmitt916@t-online.de

Yep, the Gear settings are a heavy thing. I have only one "not bad" (far from good Laughing ) gear setting that works "well" in Brno, but it only works on Honda RSWs, and i dont use 6. gear there... the top speed is 223-225km/h in fifth gear...

I will be very happy when someone could teach me how could i make good gear setups.

Sorry for my real bad english... Embarassed

The gearing isn't that hard guys.
Al you gotta work out is that when you shift up one gear, that your revs don't "fall back/drop down" to much.

For the MotoGP gearing I usually use a 25 km/h 'lenght' for each gear.
At Catalunya that results in a Topspeed of 310 km/h with the P8 physics of the 06 bikeset. I'm sure I can get a higher topspeed, but haven't worked on that yet Wink

I assume that you can use a 15 km/h 'length' or even shorter for a 125 gearbox...

I dont know... i understand what you say but try it and you will see that your solution doesn't work this 125 bikeset.

i tried to set up the possible longest fifth gear
(225-227km/h) but the 6. is so long that the rev. always fall back...

Try using an engine type that produces more torque...
Or else I'd say it is a physics problem, if there are more people with this particular problem... Think
